Established in 2008, Blue Rain is a fine art and greeting card company. Offering original abstract and modern oil paintings on linen and canvas, using the finest pigments for each painting. Paintings range in sizes from 12" x 16" to 30" x 40" with prices from $275 to $3,500. All oil paintings are unframed, one-0f-a-kind, no reproductions or copies, all original paintings.

Whether you want to accessorize your office or home, or just want to purchase an original abstract oil painting as a gift you have a variety of sizes and colors to choose from. Two local stores in Matthews, North Carolina, the hometown of the artist, also carry Blue Rain greeting cards and artwork.

Artist's statement:
For me, painting has become a way to express inner feelings with shapes, lines and color. I find interest in painting abstract as much as I do drawing the human form. What remains constant in all that I do, is the attempt to master illusion without making my paintings realistic for the human eye; but to feel an emotion, whether it be joyous or somber.
Sharp brushstrokes are obvious at times, while subtle lines disappear through the use of color. The final conclusion in each painting is often the spectators opinion which inner mood is dominant throughout the aesthetic piece of art.
Blue rain greeting cards display my abstract and modern paintings, however the prose is with feeling, which I call, ‘comfort cards’. The idea came about because I was tired of seeing the same old thing displayed in the stores, commercial cards with no thought of the human spirit and no mention of the Living God who gives us all hope in dire times.
